Hi, my name is Drew Evans, and I’m a dental student who is also passionate about music. I began piano lessons in the 5th grade and began composing music in the 6th. Throughout high school, I performed classical music, accompanied choirs and soloists, played for church worship services, and composed lots of original music and arrangements. With intentions of becoming a classical pianist, I studied piano performance for two semesters at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro before ultimately deciding to pursue a different career path and completing my Bachelor of Science in Biology at nearby High Point University. Shortly after, I completed my Master of Science in Biological Sciences at Clemson University and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.

Music will always be a part of who I am. When able, I still compose original compositions, produce recordings, and arrange worship music. In an increasingly connected world, new music and new music creators are ubiquitous. However, my central composition philosophy will always be that we are uniquely created with our own musical voices, and staying true to that voice and capitalizing on its strengths is what truly produces great music. That is my goal, to simply express the musical voice God has given me, and I hope it is enjoyable, exciting, inspiring, relatable and healing. That is exceptional music for every moment.
